| CHAMBER MUSIC/SOLO RECITAL SERIES |

Musica Bella also sponsors chamber music concerts, solo recitals, and similar events. We always mention these events right here as soon as they are scheduled, in addition to sending an E-mail to everyone who’s on our E-mail list. • Please join us on Sunday, May 11, 2008 at 3:00 p.m. at the Church of the Blessed Sacrament, 152 W. 71st Street, Manhattan, for a chamber music concert performed by Musica Bella Orchestra and Chorus members/soloists soprano Sofia Dimitrova, violinist Stanichka Dimitrova, and pianist Zheng Jennifer Huang. The program will consist of works by Bach, Mozart, Saint-Saëns, Richard Russell, Raphael Fusco, and Evan Lewis. For more information, including how to get to the concert site, please click here or on the “Future Concerts” link on the left of any page. • Please join us on Sunday, June 1, 2008 at 3:00 p.m. at the Holy Name Church, 245 Prospect Park West, Brooklyn, and/or Saturday, June 14, 2008 at 7:00 p.m. at St. John’s Church, 81 Christopher Street, Manhattan, for a solo recital with Musica Bella Chorus member/soloist tenor Daniel Molkentin and pianist Nicholas Fox performing Schubert’s song cycle Winterreise. For more information, including how to get to the concert sites, please click here or on the “Future Concerts” link on the left of any page. |

Admission to our concerts is by donation only (we suggest a very reasonable $15.00, student/senior $10.00). By “by donation only,” we mean that we ask you to kindly make a donation of any size, but preferably of at least the recommended minimum size if you can afford it, in order to help us continue to present these concerts.
Donations: Please feel encouraged to make a donation to Musica Bella, in addition to your donation at the door. You may donate as much — or as little — as you want; every penny is appreciated. It’s really not too dramatic to say that our very survival depends on your generosity, since putting on these concerts is incredibly expensive. For more details, click here or on the “Donations” link on the left of any page. Please note that your donation is tax-deductible, as Musica Bella is a 501(c)(3) organization. |

Listen to a brief recording of The Musica Bella Orchestra in rehearsal or concert! We’re sorry that nothing new has been added recently—but we hope that will change soon, when we can find the spare time to do it. We plan to add excerpts from some of the symphonies and concertos that we performed in the last couple of seasons, and we’ll even add two complete Mozart overtures! Or purchase CDs of historical recordings from William R. Trotter’s Web site. Or listen to classical music (whatever is being broadcast right now) on one of these great radio stations while you explore Musica Bella’s Web site! |
