Biography of Musica Bella Orchestra member Gregory Singer

Gregory Singer, violin/viola, is a former professional concert violinist (with the American Symphony and the Brooklyn Philharmonic). He owns and runs the Gregory Singer Fine Violin Shop in New York. Prior to that, he was director of sales at Jacques Francais Rare Violins and then the owner of Gregory Singer Rare Violins at Carnegie Hall. He is the founder of the American Studio of Music, New York.
    Gregory and his 12-year-old daughter Hope played the Bach Double Concerto with Musica Bella’s Chamber Orchestra on January 17 and 18, 2004; Gregory also played the solo part in the 5th Brandenburg Concerto on the same two concerts.
