Terry Schwadron, trombone, is active with orchestras and jazz groups in New York, living the adage that the definition of an optimist is a trombone player with a beeper. He is an editor at the New York Times, overseeing technology and research for the new department. But, in addition to Musica Bella, you can find him in the 92nd Street Y Orchestra, the Doctors Orchestra of New York, the Riverside Orchestra, and Centre Symphony, among others, and with Standard Time, a sextet, and the Rich Russo Trio. He studied with Jeffrey Reynolds of the Los Angeles Philharmonic Orchestra. Terry is married and the father of three grown artists, including a French horn player.
