Biography of Musica Bella Orchestra member David Moldenhauer

David Moldenhauer, horn, was born in Queens, New York and raised in Austin, Texas. He began his musical education on piano at age 5 and began playing French horn in junior high school. He attended the Interlochen Arts Academy and has studied with Lowell Greer, Wayne Barrington, and Melissa Coren, among others. He has played with numerous university, community, and semi-professional orchestras, opera companies, and chamber music groups. David recently returned to playing piano and is studying with Kayo Hirake. David is a partner and the head of the U.S. tax group at Clifford Chance US LLP.
