Biography of Musica Bella Orchestra member Reiko Kato

Reiko Kato started playing the violin when she was three years old with the Suzuki method. She enjoys meeting people through music. She has performed at the Canadian Embassy in Tokyo and played for several international cultural exchange concerts. She was the concertmaster of the Sophia University Orchestra in Tokyo and played in several community orchestras in Japan. After she finished her studies at Sophia University and at the Sorbonne in Paris, she went to work for Panasonic in Japan, where she worked as a product planner for the home theater projector. She moved to the U.S. in 2006 with her husband. Now she works for Panasonic U.S. in the projector sales department. She enjoys playing as a member of the Musica Bella Orchestra.
      Reiko was one of our soloists in the Vivaldi 4-Violin Concerto in b minor on our January 20 and 21, 2007 Basically Bach concerts, and she was the violin soloist in the Fifth Brandenburg Concerto on our September 8 and 9, 2007 Basically Bach concerts.
