Biography of Musica Bella Orchestra member David Greenwald

David Greenwald, oboe, is a lawyer with Cravath, Swaine & Moore. He started studying oboe in 1993 with Carl Sonik in Chicago while he was clerking for a judge. In 1996, he founded the Lawyers’ Orchestra of the Association of the Bar of the City of New York. In addition to playing with the Lawyers’ Orchestra and other groups, such as this, he serves on the Board of the Trustees of the French-American Conservatory of Music, a music school located in Carnegie Hall.
